Party Weekend!

Wow, am I pooped! I was all over the place this weekend - Applebees, Home Depot and Sunday was out of control. I went to a grad party in Coon Rapids, and even stopped by Grandma and Grandpa Corrigan's house. I saw Great-Grandma Cielinski and Great-Grandma Hare, all in the same day! Thanks for the knitted blanket, Great-Grandma Hare!

My cousin Croix Hare is holding me. He told us,
"Don't worry guys, I've been doing this for years."
He has three younger brothers, Carson, Cohan

Raise Your Hand If You're A 10-Pounder!

Emerson had his follow-up appointment with the pediatrician today. He had an eye infection but overall, he passed as healthy. He weighed in at 9 pounds and 14 ounces! By the time the picture was taken, we are sure he surpassed the 10 pound mark. ;) He is between the 75th and 90th percentile for both weight and length. Watch out for this bruiser!

Another stressful day of eating, pooping, and being the CKE. It's tough being a baby.

We put Emerson down on his stomach for some "Tummy Time" and after about 3 minutes he rolled over on his back! He is going to be one active boy. We will be baby-proofing the house before you know it...

10:36 pm. We are all sitting on the couch watching TV and Emerson is WIDE awake. He is showing no signs of falling asleep soon. We even fed him again (3 bottles/mom feedings in 3 hours). He is unbelievable in terms of eating and pooping. If you have never seen a newborn diaper it is like mustardy goo with seeds. I know that is disgusting but its really weird. How can a little body produce so much waste?!?!

Picasso has been doing surprisingly well with the new addition. He likes to sit next to Emerson and "protect" him. From what...I don't know. We are lucky to have him adapting so well. At least there is something about Picasso that doesn't require such high maintenance!

Kangaroo Time!

Apparently a mostly naked baby lying on a mostly naked Shaun is called "Kangaroo Time". Emerson seems to enjoy it, but not as much as Dad.

From Tracy- Although no one has mentioned it in writing, I have heard a lot of comments about Emerson's pants in this picture...They are size "Newborn". Seriously. I know they look huge but these are the smallest size possible. I have no idea how an almost-nine-pounder can swim in newborn clothing...

A day after Emerson was born they cut his little friend. It's a tough world!

Big baby?

Big, but not huge. Tracy opted for a C-Section mainly because we had FIVE ultrasounds due to his supposed uber-weight. We were thinking he was going to be 10+ but he ended up being a healthy 8 pounds, 12 ounces.

Yay! We created a blog! Reason why: we created a beautiful boy! His name is Emerson Kade Hare and he was born on June 10th, in Buffalo, MN. He currently holds the titles for Cutest Kid Ever (CKE) and World's Most Frequent Pooper (WMFP). Here is a short little video to entice you of what's to come.
